Overview

Currently working with my university’s marketing and communications department designing graphics for university promotions. Projects involve creating design materials ranging from branding and logo design, to brochures, posters, banners, web assets, and social media content.

Timeline

August 2022 - Present

Lightpole Banners

One of my projects was to update the designs for the light pole banners around campus. In total, I did 28 different designs, coming up with different ‘be statements’ for each. The goal with the updated redesign was to represent what it is like to be a JBU student and the values we hold.

TP Game Posters

The Toilet Paper game is the biggest and most anticipated event of the year at JBU. The world-famous event has been called “The best technical foul in all of sports,” by USA Today. Everyone throws a toilet paper roll after JBU’s first basket is made. For the game, I was tasked with designing 3 different posters for the students to cheer and celebrate. Over 300 of them were made and I often see them hanging up in student dorm rooms and faculty offices.

Gym Posters

A series of posters to advertise the various activities available to students and community members at the health complex.

Brochures

I worked on various template designs for all the different majors and programs at JBU.

“Toby is incredibly dependable and hard-working, without needing much direction from his superiors. His well-balanced skills allow him to take on a variety of projects and produce quality work.”
